Direct Support Professional - Adult Residential Facility

Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate and dependable people to join our team as *Day Shift Direct Care Staff* at our licensed board and care homes for adults with developmental disabilities. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a real difference every day by supporting residents with their daily routines, health, and personal goals. *What you’ll do:* * Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (such as grooming and meals) * Support residents with medication administration and documentation * Keep living areas clean, organized, and safe * Assist residents with appointments, outings, and recreational activities * Write daily notes and progress updates * Encourage independence, inclusion, and community participation *What we’re looking for:* * Patience, empathy, and good communication skills * Dependability and a genuine interest in helping others * Ability to work well on a team and follow care plans * Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required—we provide training *Requirements:* * Must be at least 18 years old * Ability to pass fingerprint clearance, TB test, and background check * First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) * Reliable transportation (driver’s license preferred but not required) *Schedule & Pay:* * Day shift hours * Open shifts available during weekdays and weekends If you’re looking for meaningful work where every day you can have a positive impact, we’d love to meet you.
