*Overview* We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and post-acute care environments. Prior experience in geriatrics, medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics, or teaching hospitals is highly valued. This position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. *Duties* * Companionship and emotion support• Respite care for family members and/or friends• Assisting with showering, bathing, and dressing • Assisting with personal hygiene• Assisting with getting into or out of bed or a chair• Assisting with toileting• Meal preparation, planning, eating and clean-up• Assisting with using telephone or computer• Standby assistance • Assisting with walking and light exercise (per physician’s orders)• Assisting with ambulation (per physician’s orders)• Contacting the appropriate professional(s) to obtain medical care in case of an emergency • Running Errands, including shopping for client’s groceries or personal items• Supervising household maintenance such as housecleaning service, plumbing, or gardener• Minimal light housework, including laundry, bed-making, dusting and vacuuming * Qualifications: Registered HCA • One year minimum caregiver experience or certification of CNA, CHHA, or equivalent• Able to read and write English adequately, and to speak English fluently• Able to communicate and establish positive and productive relationship with True Caregiving office team, client and their families, licensed staff and others• Professional, caring with a genuine interest in assisting our clients to maintain the best quality of life possible• Able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach freely and assist clients with standing and walking• Flexibility and reliability • Clean background and driving record • Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in this country • Provide health records (annual physical and TB test every two years)• Reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and current insurance (if applicable)• Reachable by telephone • Ability to perform all aspects of the job description with reasonable accommodation (if properly required) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.25 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Referral program Work Location: In person
