*FIRST SMILE HOME HEALTH CARE, INC.* *JOB OPENING: CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE – Per Diem* *COVERAGE AREAS* Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, Long Beach, Downey, Norwalk, and South Gate *COMPENSATION* $45-$50 per visit *CONTACT* We are seeking a qualified Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team. The CHHA provides non-medical support services to patients per their plan of care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Director of Nursing. The provided services and activities are limited to those in compliance with any applicable certification requirement(s) and agency policies and procedures. *QUALIFICATIONS* 1. Completed a Certified Home Health Aide program 2. Must be certified in California 3. One (1) year of experience preferred 4. Documentation of good physical condition to allow standing, bending, stretching and walking 5. Good emotional health 6. Spanish-speaking preferred *ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * 1. Provides patients with assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, checking pressure areas, combing hair, foot care, nail care, oral hygiene care, peri-care, and skin care 2. Provides patients with assistance with elimination, including assisting with bed pan, bedside commode, catheter care, emptying ostomy bag, and incontinent care 3.
