This position offers an engaging opportunity to deliver essential care in a flexible, rewarding setting. *Responsibilities* * Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity * Provide companionship and emotional support to foster positive relationships and reduce feelings of isolation * Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly * Administer medication reminders and assist with light household tasks to maintain a safe living environment * Support clients in engaging with community activities or hobbies to encourage mental stimulation and social interaction * Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring all client needs are met with compassion and professionalism * Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, observations, and any incidents for accurate record-keeping *Qualifications* * Prior experience in home care or related settings is preferred; experience with Level II trauma centers or hospital medicine is a plus * Strong understanding of emergency medicine protocols and geriatrics care principles * Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, outpatient services, and post-acute or sub-acute care environments * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families * Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, demonstrating familiarity with Level I Trauma Center standards if applicable * Certification in CPR or first aid is highly desirable; additional training in PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) or OR (Operating Room) procedures is advantageous * Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a home setting This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to provide impactful support while developing their skills within a dynamic healthcare environment.
