*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide attentive, personalized care for an elderly stroke patient who is bedbound. In this vital role, you will support the patient’s daily needs, promote their well-being, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive setting where your caregiving skills and empathy are truly valued. *Duties* * Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and changing diapers o promote comfort and hygiene for caretaker and his wife * Range of motion exercises and speaking constantly * Monitor the patient’s vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately * Helping Administer medications following prescribed care plans and ensure proper medication management * Support mobility ensuring safety during movement and transfers * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the patient’s dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area * Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation, especially during memory care or dementia-related challenges * Maintain a clean, safe living environment through regular cleaning, organization, and infection control practices * Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to home & community care standards, ensuring a hygienic living space Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
