Job Description
Job Title: Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide -The Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide (CHHA) is a paraprofessional member of the home care/hospice team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs and assists patient with various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort. Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5pm 10 weeks Contract, Renewable Hourly Rate: $20/hr Travel: Visits will take place in patient homes. Equipment to be provided during orientation/training. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the State of California, in good standing. -Current BLS certification. -Registration on the Home Care Aide Registry through the Department of Social Services, Home Care Services Bureau, in good standing. -Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
