About the Role We’re looking for a caring, patient, and dependable support provider to support an 8-year-old neurodivergent child at home and in the community. This is a meaningful role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids and understands that every child communicates and connects differently. What You’ll Do ∙ Assist with daily living activities including personal care, hygiene, and meals ∙ Provide supervision and support during community outings (errands, appointments, recreational activities) ∙ Follow individualized routines and behavioral support strategies ∙ Use positive, patient engagement — no punitive approaches ∙ Communicate regularly with the family about the child’s day and any observations ∙ Support sensory needs and help navigate transitions Who We’re Looking For ∙ Experience working with neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, etc.) ∙ Familiarity with ABA, Floortime, PRT, or similar approaches is a plus — but not required ∙ Calm, consistent, and warm demeanor ∙ Reliable transportation for community-based support ∙ Ability to pass a background check ∙ IHSS enrollment or willingness to enroll through [County] IHSS program Pay: $28.61 - $32.64 per hour Benefits: * Paid time off Work Location: In person
