Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Apr 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care facility in Torrance, CA, requiring a CA RN license and Epic proficiency. Details Acute care hospital setting, Case Management unit Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Patient caseload ratio of 1:20 Every other weekend required; must be available for holidays No floating within the unit, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within California Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted provided it is obtained by start date Minimum 2 years of acute care case management and/or discharge planning experience BLS certification required Epic EMR proficiency required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply but will be screened RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be disclosed prior to submission Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility Business attire or scrubs are acceptable dress code All required certifications must be included in the candidate profile
