Vital Medical Services, LLC (www.vitalmedicalservices.com) is currently accepting applications for its LVN Police Support roles in the Greater Northern Los Angeles, CA. *Applicants must be CPT-1 or IV certified and have been issued a California state license.* Vital Medical Services, LLC (“VMS”) is a public-private partnership that provides medical services to over 50 cities, schools, and law enforcement agencies. VMS offers specialized medical programs such as COVID-19 testing, Forensic Blood Evidence Collection, Medical Screenings, Communicable Disease Exposure Testing, and Nasal Naloxone Programs. This public-private partnership has resulted in over $30 million in savings to cities and has proved to be a valuable program in the communities served. Responsibilities: As a Vital Medical Services, LLC Medical Staff (LVN), you will play a key role in expanding the company’s Core operations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Perform medical procedures (medical clearances, blood draws, etc.) on arrestees and inmates * Maintain meticulous records of confidential patient information * Respond to subpoena calls as an expert witness * Liaise with Vital’s Chief Medical Officer to ensure industry-best medical standards * Ensure compliance with all infection control protocols * Travel between deployment sites Qualifications: * *Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 or IV Certification (Required)* * *Must hold an active LVN or RN license with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience (Required)* * *Previous clinical experience (Emergency Department, ICU, or Telemetry experience preferred)* * Strong attention to detail, superior work ethic and integrity, and interpersonal skills * High level of energy and professionalism with a positive, team-oriented attitude * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Reliable transportation required Licenses Required: * Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) * CPT-1 or IV Certification * Basic Life Support (BLS) Application Details: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities are available.
