Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Apr 27, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital position in California, requiring Epic proficiency and InterQual knowledge. Details Acute care hospital setting, Case Management unit Caseload ratio of 1:20 Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30) At least 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule Floating between all facilities within California is expected and required Requirements Active CA RN license required; pending CA license accepted Minimum 2 years of case management experience required Experience must be current — candidates who have not worked in the role within the last 6 months will not be considered Acute hospital case management experience required Proficiency with Epic EMR required Knowledge of InterQual criteria required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Business casual attire with a lab coat, or dark solid scrubs with a lab coat, is required Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
