Safely and effectively provides quality personal care, meets the scheduled and unscheduled needs of the residents and promotes their physical and psycho-social wellbeing by developing relationships built on trust and respect, honoring the life of the individual. Safely and effectively provides quality personal care, meets the scheduled and unscheduled needs of the residents and promotes their physical and psycho-social wellbeing by developing relationships built on trust and respect, honoring the life of the individual. Essential duties include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; participating in housekeeping and laundry tasks; assisting with dining services; participating in life enrichment programming; reporting changes in resident condition; documenting resident status; applying infection control principles; monitoring resident environment for safety; participating in admissions; responding to call lights and pendants; making rounds of care areas; providing emergency response; and working collaboratively with team members.
