Job Description

Huntington Drive Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 99-bed facility that provides routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The facility employs nursing staff to ensure residents receive care in privacy, have their vital signs checked, wounds dressed, and receive comprehensive nursing services while monitoring for falls and addressing resident and family concerns. The purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards that govern the facility and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include ensuring nursing care in privacy, checking vital signs, dressing wounds, inserting catheters, listening to residents and families, addressing concerns, performing accurate charting, reporting changes in condition, assisting and supervising CNAs, ensuring equipment is operational, monitoring fall risk, collecting lab samples, following all facility policies and infection control procedures, reporting occupational exposures immediately, attending training programs, and completing other assignments as requested by management.
