Job Description

A facility that provides nursing care to residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, offering skilled nursing services including wound dressing, catheter insertion, vital sign monitoring, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure resident comfort, dignity, and proper medical care. The purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards that govern the facility and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include ensuring nursing care in privacy, checking vital signs, dressing wounds, inserting catheters, listening to residents and families, addressing concerns, performing charting, reporting condition changes, assisting and supervising CNAs, ensuring equipment is in good operating order, monitoring fall-risk residents, collecting lab samples, abiding by facility policies, following infection control policies, reporting occupational exposures, attending training programs, and completing other assignments as requested by management.
