Job Description

A facility governed by current federal, state, and local standards that provides skilled nursing care to residents, including primary skin care, wound dressing, vital sign monitoring, and medical services directed by a Medical Director/Attending Physician and Director of Nursing, with a multidisciplinary care planning team. The purpose of your job position is to provide primary skin care to residents in accordance with their care plan along with current federal, state, and local standards that govern the facility, and as directed by the Medical Director/ Attending Physician and/or the Director of Nursing. The Treatment Nurse will treat each resident with kindness, dignity and respect, maintain a positive and calm disposition, communicate clearly and empathetically, work cooperatively with all departments, and perform essential duties including consulting with care planning teams, checking vital signs, dressing wounds, documenting progress notes, following infection control policies, and completing other assignments as directed by management.
