The Treatment Nurse Provides primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of residents' attending physicians, Director of Nursing or Medical Director of facility with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin orders. The Treatment Nurse assists in modifying the treatment regimen to meet physical and psychosocial needs of resident, in accordance with established medical practices, governmental requirements and Company policies and procedures. Essential duties include identifying, managing, and treating specific skin disorders and lesions; providing assessment and diagnostic input; completing weekly skin assessments; providing treatment per physician orders; educating residents and families on prevention; and providing reports to physicians and the Director of Nursing.
