The RN - Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice, coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines. This RN position is a staff position that has direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for licensed nurses and nursing assistants. Key responsibilities include administering nursing care or delegating functions that require RN expertise, administering medications and treatments timely and according to policy, receiving and carrying out physician orders, following established procedures for charting and reporting incidents/accidents, identifying and reporting changes in patient condition, and performing related responsibilities as designated by the Director of Nursing Services.
