Job Description

The purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with the resident's assessment plan, with current federal, state and local standards and regulations that govern the facility, and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include answering call lights, ensuring privacy, making residents comfortable, assisting with feeding and grooming, proper lifting and transitioning of residents, transporting residents, timely reporting of changes in resident condition, protecting resident files with HIPAA confidentiality, following facility policies and infection control procedures, and reporting occupational exposures to hazardous materials.
