Residents Assistants are an essential part of our wellness team by providing basic personal assistance to the residents in maintaining their highest level of functional independence and psychosocial wellness under the direction and supervision of a RN or LPN. This is a full-time role covering the evening shift, 3:00p - 11:00p, Sunday - Thursday. Duties include providing companionship and establishing trusting relationships with residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as ambulation, transferring, showering, personal hygiene, and feeding, gathering residents for activities, conducting daily tasks safely, serving meals, maintaining clean resident rooms and laundry, observing and reporting resident concerns, following safety regulations, communicating with family and visitors, reporting changes in resident conditions and complaints, answering emergency calls, providing post-mortem care, completing documentation, participating in wellness meetings and training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and the Wellness Director's instructions.
