Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Caregiver Assistant! The Caregiver Assistant supports resident care within the branch. Ensuring Resident's daily needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest! Responsibilities include knowing the residents you serve and providing care based on their service plans, assisting in all aspects of a resident's daily life including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement, appropriately communicating with branch clinical leadership when a resident's needs change, and demonstrating knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia. Qualifications include High School Diploma or GED or one-year related experience, willingness to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire, willingness to take additional training or education as required by specific states, CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification, ability to handle multiple priorities, possession of written and verbal skills for effective communication, competence in organizational and time management skills, and demonstration of good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
