Job Description

West Covina Healthcare Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in West Covina, CA. The purpose of your Certified Nursing Assistant position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with the residents assessment plan, with current federal, state and local standards and regulations that govern the facility, and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include answering call lights, ensuring privacy, making residents comfortable, assisting with feeding and grooming, proper lifting and transitioning of residents, helping residents with mobility, transporting residents, timely reporting of condition changes, protecting resident confidentiality per HIPAA, following facility policies and infection control procedures, and reporting occupational exposures immediately.
