Job Description

A facility that provides nursing care to residents, offering daily nursing care and services including meal service, medical treatments, personal care assistance, and rehabilitation services, with policies governing resident health information protection, accident reporting, and care procedures administered under supervision of a Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include identifying residents before administering treatments, reporting changes in resident conditions, recording entries on charts, performing nursing care procedures, assisting residents with daily functions such as bathing and dressing, helping with mobility and transfers, monitoring food and fluid intake, maintaining infection control practices, and ensuring resident safety and comfort throughout assigned shifts.
