LVN Medication Nurse - All Shifts

We are one of the largest assisted living facilities in Long Beach, including hospice and Memory Care. Assist and supervise residents with medication administration. Regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents and management staff. Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, incidents and observations. Initiates emergency measures according to facility policy. Understand and ensure compliance with all Federal (Title 22) and state regulations concerning the department (training provided). Demonstrate knowledge of infection control, i.e., adequate hand-washing, blood borne pathogens procedures, universal precautions, etc. Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports and submit these as may be required. Provide basic patient care
