The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides residents and patients with the highest level of quality routine daily nursing care in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Essential activities include care management and service delivery (80%) encompassing daily resident and patient care, Activities of Daily Living assistance, observation and reporting of health changes, and maintaining a warm atmosphere; operations management (10%) including room maintenance, infection control, and attending meetings; and administration and reporting (10%) involving recording vital signs and ADL coding in electronic medical records and reporting changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
