Job Description
Eastland Rehab and Nursing is a skilled nursing facility looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to provide excellence and innovation in aging services through strategic leadership, program development, and administration of nursing services in accordance with community and resident needs, while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and CMS standards of quality. A Director of Nursing is responsible to make a compelling difference in the lives of our residents through providing excellence and innovation in aging services. The Director of Nursing is responsible for strategic leadership, program development and implementation, and the overall administration of Nursing Services in accordance with community and resident needs. Responsibilities include oversight of the nursing floor, CNAs & LPN and residents, coordinating clinical operations implementing shared governance and relationship-based care, overseeing safety and infection control programs, providing guidance in meeting CMS standards of quality, ensuring care plans and assessments are filed thoroughly and timely, maintaining quality measures, and providing supervision of CNA's, LPN's, and RN's in a supportive manner.
