Job Description

A facility providing skilled nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, offering routine daily nursing care, wound dressing, catheter insertion, and comprehensive resident monitoring with nursing supervision and support services. The purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards that govern the facility and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include ensuring nursing care privacy, checking vital signs, dressing wounds, inserting catheters, listening to residents and families, addressing concerns, performing charting, reporting condition changes, assisting CNAs, ensuring equipment operation, monitoring fall risks, collecting lab samples, following facility policies and infection control procedures, reporting exposures, attending training, and completing assignments as requested.
