Job Description
West Covina Healthcare Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in West Covina, CA. The purpose of your Certified Nursing Assistant position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with the residents assessment plan, with current federal, state and local standards and regulations that govern the facility, and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include answering call lights, ensuring privacy, making residents comfortable, assisting with feeding and grooming, proper lifting and transitioning, helping residents with mobility, transporting residents, reporting changes in resident condition, protecting resident confidentiality per HIPAA standards, following facility policies and infection control procedures, and reporting occupational exposures immediately.
