Job Description

A facility providing routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their assessment and care plans, operating with established policies and procedures, information systems, administrative oversight, and inter-departmental coordination to maintain nursing services and meet resident needs. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include identifying residents before administering treatments, reporting changes in resident condition, recording entries on charts, performing trained nursing care procedures, assisting residents with daily functions such as bathing and dressing, lifting and moving residents, observing and reporting skin breakdowns, maintaining confidentiality of resident information, and reporting all allegations of resident abuse.
