Provides direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including lifting, turning, positioning, transporting, bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, grooming, answering call lights, and restorative care. Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms, engages residents in activities, communicates professionally, assists nurses with tasks including vitals measurement and documentation, adheres to resident rights and safety policies, practices universal precautions, and performs food service functions including meal preparation and assistance.
