Job Description

A nursing care facility that provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their assessment and care plans. The facility maintains established policies and procedures, has a Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse, an Administrator, and inter-departmental personnel. It has multiple units, resident rooms, medical testing capabilities, and emergency evacuation procedures. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include identifying residents before administering treatments, reporting changes in resident conditions, recording information, performing nursing care procedures, assisting residents with daily functions including bathing and dressing, lifting and moving residents, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting any incidents or concerns to supervisors.
