Cardinal Ritter Senior Services seeks compassionate and experienced PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. The role involves preparing, administering, and recording medications by all routes (excluding parenteral routes of administration). Duties include using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to determine and respond to resident needs in a holistic manner; coaching and mentoring CNAs and CMTs; utilizing the Matrix System to ensure nursing practices comply with state and federal guidelines; interfacing professionally with all departments; reporting abuse and neglect immediately; observing and recording resident reactions to medications and treatments; maintaining medical records with pertinent documentation; and making rounds with physicians while completing required documentation and physician orders.
