Job Description

St. Agnes Home is a care facility operated by the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus located in Kirkwood at the corner of Woodlawn and Manchester Road. It is a peaceful, loving, clean, family-oriented environment that provides care for residents. The facility employs Licensed Practical Nurses who are responsible for delivering resident care through the nursing process and coordinating nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Licensed Practical Nurse position offering part-time evening shift (7:00pm-11:00pm) for 20 hours per week at St. Agnes Home. Responsible for delivery of resident care through the nursing process including assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation. Requires directing and coordinating nursing care for residents based on established clinical nursing practice standards, collaborating with other professional disciplines, and meeting established standards of the profession while practicing within the scope of licensure. Requires graduation from accredited School of Nursing, current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in Missouri in good standing, experience in Long Term Care preferred, and basic computer skills. Must pass DHSS criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and meet I-9 and W-4 documentation requirements.
