As an LPN at Sunnyhill, you will specialize in training and quality assurance. In collaboration with the Sunnyhill Nursing Department, you will play a pivotal role in elevating care standards, mentoring staff, and doing it all with positivity, professionalism, and warmth. Key responsibilities include instructing and certifying new employees in medication aide certification and personal care, providing remedial instruction to staff, conducting training sessions, tracking and monitoring data from documentation audits, assessing adverse events, completing ongoing nursing assessments of people supported, participating in person-centered planning, obtaining and executing physician orders, reviewing medications, updating leadership on health status changes, and communicating effectively with waiver supervisory staff to ensure appropriate medical care.
