A Private Duty Caregiver career with Brookdale at Home involving one on one companionship, non-medical hands on care including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care and assistance with transfers, housekeeping and laundry, pet care, transportation to doctor's appointments and other errands, and medication reminders. Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, treat each senior with respect and dignity, nurture a home-like setting, and assist seniors with activities of daily living and household tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
