The facility maintains a corporate philosophy of quality care with a nursing department supervised by a Director of Wellness and Executive Director, employing HHAs, CNAs, CMAs, and other caregiving staff to provide medication administration, patient care, emergency services, and daily resident support. Wellness Manager (CNA, CMA, L1MA or CMT). This is a working LEAD position for night shift only. Responsible for all job responsibilities as listed below as well as overseeing night shift staff, holding caregivers accountable for job responsibilities and maintaining quality care for senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. Medication Assistants preferred. Some leadership or management experience required. Responsible for carrying out the instructions of the Director of Wellness. Supervise and monitor nursing staff to obtain highest quality care by performing routine nursing duties. Accountable to Director of Wellness/Executive Director for all nursing department activities and maintaining the corporate philosophy of quality care. Duties include: Supervise HHAs, CNAs and facility staff, make daily rounds of all Assisted Living residents, observe and report symptoms and conditions of patients, administer medications and treatments per signed doctor's orders, inform DOW of needed supplies and equipment, order medication from pharmacy, supervise Home Health Aide, administer emergency first aid, assure daily assignments are carried out, maintain cleanliness of nurse's station and med room, assist in orientation of new staff, complete admission and discharge evaluations, check equipment condition, provide guidance for nursing assistants, promote good interpersonal relationships with residents, visitors and personnel, and perform related work as required.
