A long-term care skilled nursing facility offering memory care assisted living and independent care of seniors, providing nursing care and services in accordance with current laws, regulations, and evidence-based standards, with oversight by a Director of Nursing and administrative functions including survey readiness, policy adherence, and resident-centered care delivery. The Duties of an LPN generally include providing routine care, observing resident's health, assisting doctors and registered nurses and communicating with residents, family members and other caregivers. LPN's are accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. Administrative Functions include planning, developing, overseeing and evaluating the delivery of nursing care and services in accordance with current laws, regulations, guidelines and evidence-based standards. Personnel Functions include assisting in developing nursing department work assignments, providing oversight of nursing personnel, ensuring fair recognition and disciplinary action, and assisting in developing training and orientation programs. Nursing Care Functions include providing information about resident nursing needs, maintaining clinical records in compliance with regulations, providing oversight of care delivery, monitoring residents, participating in developing care plans, executing physician orders, performing physical assessments, and providing direct nursing care as necessary.
