As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to: Identifying, managing, and treating specific skin conditions such as pressure injuries, diabetic, venous, or arterial ulcers, and traumatic wounds. Providing wound care on assigned residents, following manufacturer recommendations and appropriate techniques. Completing thorough and accurate wound assessments upon notification of wound and follow-up assessments weekly. Documenting all assessments in the medical record and completing MDS sections related to wound care.
