Job Description
Responsibilities: - Assist in implementing and supervising daily activities for older adults in a program setting - Provide support and guidance to older adults during activities - Assist and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and other program components (e.g., exercise program) - Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in the program - Assist with mealtime routines and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed - Collaborate with program staff to create a positive and inclusive environment - Assist in the transportation of program participants to and from various locations - Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on program vehicles - Communicate effectively with program staff and participants to ensure a safe and efficient transportation experience Experience: - Previous experience in caregiving for older adults or similar role preferred, but not required - Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies - Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals - Experience with shuttle driving and route driving is beneficial Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
