Minimum of 3 years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation and/or care management setting Alaris Health at The Chateau – North & South Pavilio, a 251 bed-skilled nursing Center in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, seeks a rehabilitation nurse to assume some responsibilities of the nursing department as delegated. Additional responsibilities include: conferring with the director of nursing to assess the quality of nursing care being delivered and make improvements/changes assisting with the development, direction, participation and evaluation of the orientation program for nursing personnel in the absence of the director of staff development completing and overseeing daily rounds to evaluate residents’ care and employees’ progress monitor nursing practices and assist personnel with nursing and educational needs performing rehabilitation assessments upon all new admissions and existing residents as requested liaising with all therapists (physical, occupational and speech) ensuring that each resident’s individualized care plan is followed and above all, that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
