Rouleau Orthodontics in Mountain View is looking to add to our team! We are willing to train the right RDA or DA all the needed orthodontic skills for this position. We hope to have you on our team! *If only a DA, starting hourly pay will be lower than $30/hr. and will be within a competitive pay range. Monthly bonuses will still be given even if only a DA. We do ask that you are already working towards obtaining your RDA and to have within 2-years of employment. **Please reply off ad only, no walk-ins or direct phone calls as our outside consultant needs to conduct prescreen interviews** Requirements: Orthodontic chair-side and iTero experience a plus, but not required (We are willing to train the right person with a fantastic personality and work ethics.) Current California RDA license or DA certificate required If only a DA, must already be working towards obtaining your RDA license and have within 2-years of employment. Current CPR certificate, and X-Ray License required Must be willing to learn and perform all orthodontic RDA or DA duties Experience in Dolphin Management and Imaging software a plus, but willing to train Excellent communication and computer skills Have reliable work history and excellent work references Live within a reasonable driving distance from practice and possess reliable transportation Have a fun, positive and cheerful personality yet professional, dependable and efficient Ability to work independently and also be a team player with a strong drive to learn and excel Independently able to problem solve and come up with solutions Hard working, detailed oriented in your work, enthusiastic about learning Helping to promote the practice through positive patient contact Have excellent verifiable work references Someone that shows loyalty with current or past employment with at least 2-years or more with a single employer. We are not looking for someone that hops jobs as we desire long-term employment. Need someone this is going to be able to work the full patient schedule listed above, as we do not have the flexibility for student schedules at this time. Orthodontic Assistant (RDA/DA) duties but not limited to: All aspects of clinical orthodontic assisting such as tying and untying ligatures, fitting bands, impressions, setting up to bond brackets, OSHA management, trying in appliances, etc. and all other orthodontic duties as needed. Taking orthodontic records. Sterilization as needed. Maintaining standards of infection control. Adhere to and follow all practice policies and rules withing the employee handbook. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
