Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients while supporting the team. Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Perform coronal polishing to help enhance patients' oral health. Create temporary crowns and other prosthetic devices, ensuring high-quality results. Follow OSHA and infection control protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of both patients and staff. Build relationships with patients, putting them at ease and explaining post-procedure care and instructions. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to be sterile and ready for patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in collaboration with the dental team. Qualifications: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification (required). Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDA in a dental setting. Skilled in taking X-rays and working with digital radiography systems. Experience with coronal polishing and making temporary crowns. A solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and infection control practices. A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for helping people. Strong communication skills with patients and colleagues. Willingness to learn and grow with ongoing training provided by the doctor.
