· Assist residents with ADL tasks including: housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals, personal laundry, showers, toileting including incontinence care, dressing, undressing, grooming, shaving, personal hygiene, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation including escorting to the dining room and activities, monitoring in the dining room, cutting food, participation in activities, and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan. · Keep environment safe and clean for all residents, including providing extra housekeeping and linen change. · Observe residents for safety, including providing room checks, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor · Provide/deliver extra tray service as per policy and procedure, documenting those trays which incur an additional fee · Complete dining room server duty during meals (where applicable). Serve food efficiently to assure proper temperature. Follow dining room guidelines, respect resident desires and create a pleasant dining experience for all in the dining room. · Provide companionship to resident (reading, talking, assist with phone calls and letter writing). · Report and document personal services rendered and monitor resident condition. · Exhibit the proper and timely response to all resident and family concerns · Assist residents to activities and actively promotes resident activity participation.
