Cardinal Ritter Senior Services seeks compassionate and experienced night shift Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for their Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. This role involves preparing, administering, and recording medications by all routes (excluding parenteral routes of administration). Duties include using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to determine and respond to resident needs; coaching and developing CNAs and CMTs; utilizing the Matrix System to ensure nursing practices comply with state and federal guidelines; interfacing professionally with all departments; reporting abuse and neglect incidents to the DON and Administrator; observing and documenting resident reactions to medications and treatments; maintaining medical records with pertinent information; making rounds with physicians; and performing all duties professionally with kindness and consideration. Requirements include current qualification as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Missouri, knowledge of equipment necessary for physician orders, specialized interest in geriatrics and nursing care of chronically ill and convalescent adults, and knowledge of extended care facility regulations. The position offers 12-hour night shifts (every Tuesday and Saturday), pays from $32.00 per hour, and requires 2 years of LPN experience and ability to commute to St. Louis, MO 63119.
