Job Description

"Preakness Healthcare Center is a 406-bed nursing facility providing subacute and long-term care. Under direction of a nurse or other supervisory staff, performs the non-professional nursing duties involved in the care of residents for their activities of daily living to provide resident-centered care. Responsibilities will include: Provide resident-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain required documentation. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with residents and staff. Feeds or assists the patient with meals. Bathes and /or assists patients with bathing, dressing, and changing. Prepares patients for special tasks or other medical procedures as required."
